|What does the warranty cover? |
Your warranty booklet describes what is covered and explains your responsibilities (including any deductible and exclusions when applicable) and those of the dealership. Manufacturers pay warranty claims based on their written policies and procedures. Both the customer and dealership must comply with the manufacturer's criteria. (NOTE: customers are responsible for payment until such time as the problem is diagnosed as a "warranty covered problem".) Even if a problem seems minor or only occurs intermittently, have it listed on your repair order to establish a record. Please read your warranty policy carefully.
What does an extended warranty cover? Extended service contracts and extended warranties grant varying amounts and periods of coverage beyond those covered by your original warranty. If you have purchased an extended service contract or extended warranty, review it carefully to verify what is covered and for how long. Asking questions before you need to use your coverage will reduce the possibility of misinterpretations. Extended policies may also include reimbursement for a rental vehicle for specified periods as soon as repairs are diagnosed as warranty-covered repairs.
How will I know when my vehicle is ready?
Leave a number where you can be reached during the day, and we'll call. If you have not heard from us before leaving for the dealership, please call your Service Advisor to verify that your vehicle is ready.
What if the work isn't completed?
We try very hard to have your vehicle ready when promised. Occasionally, this is not possible. Should this occur, your Service Advisor will contact you to discuss the options available to you.
What if I want to buy parts or accessories?
We have a large supply of GM and Chrysler parts. We will be happy to sell you the stocked parts of your choice or place an order for you.
GM Model Owners Take Note!
Beginning with the 1994 model year, General Motors introduced Courtesy Transportation. Customers who purchase or lease a 1994 General Motors passenger car or light duty truck will have the added advantage of Courtesy Transportation at no additional charge when their vehicles are left at Papik Motors for repairs covered under the 36 months/36,000 miles new vehicle limited warranty. Same day repairs: One way shuttle transportation is provided if a vehicle is inoperative at day's end and needs to be held overnight. The repairs alone must require that the vehicle be kept overnight.
